Dr. Joetta Wesley
Principal

Dr. Joetta Wesley completed her 29th year in education, including 12 years with Grand Prairie ISD. Most recently, she served as the principal of Travis World Language Academy for seven years. Throughout her career, Dr. Wesley has held diverse roles including Teacher, TAP Master Teacher, Instructional Coach, Professional Learning Specialist, Assistant Principal, and Academic Dean, working with students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Dr. Wesley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Houston, a master’s degree in educational administration from Lamar University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin, her daughter Kyla, and their extended family and friends. She also loves to read and travel. Dr. Wesley is excited to make a positive impact in the lives of children, staff, and families in the Hobbs Williams community.
